The International Vocational Training Courses of IQY Technical College are based on Australian Packages. But IQY Technical College is neither registered as RTO in Australia nor issue NRT Australia Qualifications.

We develop our own courses and learning system and co-operate with our partnered colleges, universities and professional associations.

The learning resources may bear Australian Training Package unit numbers as we make the reference to them but  IQY’s own code numbers will be listed on the transcripts. For example 599801- ACM40418 / 499803- BSBCRT501  etc to convert Australian Training Package code number to IQY code numbers.

To earn Professional Diploma or Bachelors degree, appropriate Engineering or Information Technology or Management subjects of mainstream IQY Courses are required to study.

 

Award Rule

15 credits- Certificate  (VTC Level 3)

30 credits -Diploma

60 credits-Advanced Diploma

Each unit will be weighted 3 points regardless of level 1 or 2 or 3 or 4

Choosing the right level will depend on individual candidate’s capability and appropriate supervision and guidance provided by the course supervisor.

There is no pre-requisite. If the candidate finds the difficulty, he or she can consult with the course supervisor to switch to appropriate level of the unit.

The ready made study resources are arranged for some units. If the appropriate study resources is not readily available, the candidate or course supervisor should perform the internet research  at www.google.com by entering the name of the unit for example Handle horses safely to be entered  for ACMEQ202 Handle Horse Safety unit and utilize the downloaded appropriate study resources.

Vocational Training is OPEN STUDY. Based on the guideline, the students can refer any appropriate resources, notes, lessons, powerpoints and online videos.
