More information about Electrical Assisting Courses

There are two options

1/Attend Microskills Electrical Assisting one day courses on every Friday 11 AM to 2 PM at 57/330 Wattle Street Ultimo by paying course fees and receive each microskills certificate.

On completion of 14 courses,Certificate in Electrical Assisting full certificate can be issued and you can use it to apply for electrical assistant jobs. One day short course prices are $100 to $200

2/Alternatively, you can enrol Certificate in Electrical Assisting , 6 months course at $2000.

All classes on Friday 11AM to 2PM at 57/330 Wattle Street, Ultimo NSW 2007

When you get the job, then enrol UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician to apply for Electrician licence that need

1/ UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician from RTO

2/4 years electrical experience

3/1 year Electrical Wiring Experience.

4/Certificate of Proficiency Electrician from NSW Vocational Training Review Panel NSW VTRP

5/Pass trade test/ interview is if necessary

It will be decided by NSWVTRP

(Please note that NSWVTRP will decide whether you will be issued Certificate of Proficiency straightaway or ask you to attend interview or trade test.

To pass their assessment , both theory knowledge and practical Proficiency are essential.

Furthermore, you need to complete nominal hours of 1110 in UEE30820 course .

If you got a lot of RPL based on your experience or previous studies, if NSWVTRP Assessor feels that you have not got sufficient training , they will ask you to attend either interview or trade test or both .

Failing badly in interview or trade test ,for example , although you hold UEE30820, you can not even solve very simple DC Ohm law problem or do not know which terminal is active or neutral or earth, you can be asked to complete another training period and attend the trade test again

If many candidates from same RTO that issued UEE30820 have the same story , they can go after RTO through ASQA .It was already one cause that ASQA revoke the registration of several RTOs and cancel the qualifications

The best thing is 1/ Learn theory properly and 2/Do practical nicely . As trainer ,I can only provide you with sufficient theory and guide on practical and how to prepare your work portfolio. But no one can guarantee whether NSWVTRP will ask you to do trade test or not.

Getting electrician will depend on your skills ,knowledge and experience as well as how well you can do in the test and Technical interview if asked

In all cases , electrical work experience in Australia is essential. To get first job in electrical as electrical assistant, our courses are to provide necessary training to get electrical assistant, job.

More information and enrolment links are below.Upon receipt of enrolment, the bank account to transfer fees will be provided. You can pay the fees and book any Friday date

Upon receipt of fees, Invoice will be issued and online link to study the lessons will be provided. On one day session, recoup the theory and guide the students to do practical as well as minor theory assessment and practical assessment.

Then Electrician Micro Skills Certificate of the Course that you choose will be issued.
