to adhoc requests from Housekeeping and Front Office
Department and also Hotel Guests directly
At
CKS Hotel, I attended the following requests by the guests
Door
lock system, replace the batteries, reprogram the key ,Check
the key card of guest with reception .Emergency replacement of key lock
pad
TV
issue, no proper signal, check the signal and power input,
compatibility of remote
Power
supply , check the circuit breakers
Fridge
issue , reset thermostat
Aircon
issue, reset the thermostat compatibility of remote control switch.Defrostung,clean if air filter ,Clean of
ventilator outlet
Replace
the light
Toilet
issue, toilet flush, water leak, in this case, submit the instruction to plumber
Bed
issue, bed roller fit
Telephone
issue
Internet
plug issue
Lighting
issue, replace bed and table lights
Sometimes,
tv and Aircon remotes are not working although the batteries are replaced , in this case the universal remotes are used and
they are fixed to work with tv and Aircon indoor units
· Good
knowledge of engineering and maintenance system for the hotel
I
have worked for six months as maintenance person at CKS Hotel and personally
hand on fix of the hotel systems
· Assist
in managing contractors
· I
personally paste the trolley protection strips at the wall corners and floors
with construction adhesive, tighten the screws if toilet roll holders, water taps,minor wall painting, search the leakage, fix the
chairs, minor carpentry ,repair the bed rollers and supports, fix the curtain
rails, fix the shower door hang rollers, emergency opening of the doors, repair
of cabinet, fix CCTV camera , fix telephone jack and cable, replace the out of
order phones
· Fixed
the out of order vaccum cleaners ,
refit the dust sucking pipe, supply wire .
With
my PE NSW001338 and RPEQ 07661, I can well do engineering paper works
· Report
all hazards in guest and employee areas to the Resident Manager.
At
CKS Hotel, I have done, wet floor, water leaks, electrical hazards and with my
experience as TAFE Teacher who taught OHS, I have the experience in assessing
the risks related to OHS and safety
· Assisting
in planning, organizing and controlling all matters related to engineering
related matters
As
above
· Has
full understanding of and is responsible for the following systems:
- Hotel and cold water, sewage
and traps
I personally fix the hotel water supply system by
assisting plumber toilet system
- Air-conditioning, ventilation
and refrigeration
I fix the fridge to find out the fault Replace
thermostat or compressor motor. I have work experience in maintenance workshop
to repair the fridge and Aircons
I personally clean the ventilator ducts and Aircon
air filters
- Lighting
I replaced various lights at the hotel.I myself is NSW licensed
electrician 33631S
- Heating
On board ship during my marine engineer Cadet, I worked
in boiler room, boiler water chemical ph test etc at CKS, I operate the boilers
- Sound and visual
At CKS Hotel, I check the tv system to rectify the faults
- Pool filtration and quality
I got experience in ph test
-Electrical and LPG
As mentioned , I am both
NSWPE electrical and NSW Lic electrician who got
electrical site experiences
- Kitchens
I got experience in finding the fault for cooking
ranges,
Recently I check and repaired the buffet warmer
that got blow out of porcelain terminal due to heat .
